Our Journey
Care For Our Journey is a collaborative, multidisciplinary project that aims to increase access to
whole-person centered support for Birmingham’s unhoused community. The project’s strategic
purpose is to provide medical, housing, and recovery support to individuals living outdoors and
who are otherwise not connected to the care and support within our community’s broader care
system. We meet folks where they are, providing services including, but not limited to:
Prescription Assistance
Primary Care
Wound Care
Peer Recovery Support
Connection to Treatment
Housing Counseling and Assessments
